Faced with dwindling enrollment in their house program, Redford Township Hockey Association officials have come up with a plan that has them asking, "Have we gone crazy?" on their Web site.
They are charging $800 to play in the Little Caesars Amateur Hockey League's fall/winter house season, which runs September through March.
Scicluna and association Vice President Bill Carlton said the organization plans to make up the discounted cost of the house program with several fund-raisers and the acquisition of sponsors.

The Amateur Hockey Association Illinois, Inc. (AHAI) is very proud and excited the US Women’s National Team has chosen Chicago, Illinois as one of only three United States cities where they will play their arch rival Canada in a pre-Olympic game on December 1, 2005 at the United Center beginning at 7:00 p.m.
As an incentive for each hockey association in Illinois they will be to selling tickets to the game to raise funds for their organization.

Former NHL player Murray Costello, known more for his work as the kingpin of Canadian amateur hockey, was named in the builder's category.
Costello began his hockey career playing parts of two seasons with the Bruins and Detroit Red Wings from 1954-55 to 1956-57.
He left hockey for law school and later returned to work in several capacities in the Western Hockey League.
