The Fezziwigs' ball is beautifully danced, and A.C.T. alumnus Brian Keith Russell and Bay Area favorite Cindy Goldfield as the party-loving Mr.
Jomar Tagatac is excellent as young Scrooge, and he displays the more sympathetic side of Scrooge as a young man. He has a beautiful trained theater voice, shown to great advantage as the actors are not miked.
A.C.T.'s next production is The Gamester by Freyda Thomas, which is based on Jean-Francois Regnard’s Le Joueur and opens on January 6th.

Bryan Rasmussen was born in Tucson, Arizona and raised as one of six children in Colorado Springs, Colorado, He migrated to California where he broke onto the L.A. theatre scene with his critically-accaimed portrayal of the troubled Alan Strang in “Equus” at the CAST Theater, garnering Drama-Logue and LA Weekly awards.

The course covers similar subjects as the regular theatre course in greater depth and requires more written and practical work from the student.  The student must maintain a grade of "B" in order to remain in Honors Theatre.
Those students who have earned an A in theatre arts in the previous academic year or show unusual and exceptional promise may take the Advanced Theatre Arts course with permission of Dr. Radin.
Students must maintain at least a "B" average to continue to be a theatre student at Drury.

The American Conservatory Theatre is presenting as its final show of the 2001-02 season, a revival of Sam Shepard’s Pulitzer Prize winning play, Buried Child, which runs through July 14.
The drama played the Theatre De Lys in Greenwich Village for 152 performances in 1978 where it won the Pulitzer Prize for best drama that year.
Neil Hopkins as the lean and lanky Vince is good in the role but he tends to overact in the third act.

 Robert Woodruff
In 1976 Woodruff established his second theatre, the Bay Area Playwrights Festival, a summer forum for the development of new plays that is still flourishing.
In 1983 Woodruff staged The Comedy of Errors with the The Flying Karamazov Brothers at the Goodman Theatre in Chicago and at Lincoln Center in New York City.
In 1983 he told Scott Cummings, then a student at the Yale School of Drama, that one of his greatest regrets about theatre in the States was the lack of formal apprenticeship.
