The American Registry for Internet Numbers (ARIN) is the Regional Internet Registry (RIR) for Canada, the United States, and portions of the Caribbean.
Established in December 1997, ARIN is incorporated as a nonprofit in the Commonwealth of Virginia, USA.
The President of ARIN is an ex-officio member and acts as the liaison between the Board of Trustees and the Advisory Council.
