  Grand Mufti Haj Amin al-Husseini
Muhammed Amin al-Husseini [many spelling variations] was born in 1893 (or 1895), the son of the Mufti of Jerusalem and member of an esteemed, aristocratic family.
Amin al-Husseini studied religious law at al-Azhar University, Cairo, and attended the Istanbul School of Administration.
Haj Amin al-Husseini eventually died in exile in 1974.

Idi Amin was infamous in the 1970's for a few things: his ruthlessness as the leader of Ugada, his sartorial Fez style hat, and some of his strange antics (he was rumoured to be a cannibal and to have jumped in a swimming pool in a full dress military uniform.
Amin is appointed chief of the army and air force, serving in the position until 1970.
Amin's 43 children are able to travel to and from Uganda, and several of them live there permanently.

It was one of the most appalling reigns of terror anywhere, with Amin reputed to have fed the remains of victims to the crocodiles in Lake Victoria and kept the heads of decapitated political rivals in his refrigerator.
Amin was born in either 1924 or 1925 into the Muslim Kakwa tribe in Koboko in northwest Uganda, close to the borders of Zaire - now the Democratic Republic of Congo, and Sudan.
Amin was thus a member of the ruling elite that moved into positions of power when independence was declared, first as a crony of Obote, who made him chief of the army and air force, and then as his sworn rival.
