Cerro-metals, amorphous metals metallic ceramics and refractories....have had applications for years that are getting better all the time.
Well, I'am not sure about the high metal content of the ceramic lifters, unless its a non-magnetic metal, because my ceramic lifters are definately not magnetic at all (except for the lifter cup).
