Amr Moussa (Arabic: عمرو موسى, (born 1936) is an Egyptian diplomat and the current Arab League secretary-general, appointed in May 2001.
Amr Moussa is by far the most popular Egyptian diplomat and there have been numerous calls by Egyptians asking him to run for Presidential elections.
Moussa was a very outspoken diplomat and he was well known for his sharp criticism to US bias towards Israel especially after Israeli massacres in Southern Lebanon.
