		As I said this meeting was very useful, it is encouraging to have indications of support from governing bodies of the Federation, certainly that support was missing under the previous government and we certainly hope to be moving forward with that process.

		Albert P Costa and Humayun Kabir, the founding president and general secretary of the organisation, said they have been president and general secretary of the organisation since 1996 and that Mahi had no relation with the organisation.
		The dissident group said they organised the press conference after consultation with the BNP policymakers, but refused to disclose their names.
