Amy Heckerling (born May 7, 1954) is an American film director, one of the few women directors to have produced multiple box-office hits.
Heckerling wrote and directed an adaptation of Jane Austen's Emma, putting the story in another mythical Los Angeles high school, to produce Clueless (1995).
Heckerling, recently wrapped filming the romantic comedy I Could Never Be Your Woman opposite Michelle Pfeiffer and Paul Rudd.
