Once more, Campbell's interest in religion manifested itself: at his suggestion, the people of Anacreon and the other kingdoms view the Foundation's scientific aid as a form of magic, and a religion centered on the Foundation spreads among them.

Eventually the farmers grew to become the sole inhabitants of the planet, excepting the members of the Second Foundation, and the era of Trantor as the central world of the galaxy came to a close.
There have been some serious attempts to illustrate a planet like Trantor in the Star Wars films by George Lucas, the first being the Death Star and the other being Coruscant (which was originally to be called "Jhantor", in homage to Trantor).

Anacreon, a turn-based interplanetary strategy game, starts off on this premise for its first scenario, but as you play other scenarios, you are the emperor or empress of a planet that had a slightly different history.
You are the one to lead your people to a new age and a new life of prosperity and peace, but first you must rebuild your empire planet by planet and protect it from those who seek to build an empire of their own.
Planets may also produce new ships to add to your warfleets or conduct research to advance the technology level of the empire; these abilities are also dependent on that planet's technology level.

Each location is defended by any ships based on the planet (according to the empire's defense configuration orders) and is also defended by any ground defenses that can reach the location.

I think giving the planets their own names is a good way to lend the star system some more personality.
Though a good idea would be for Noctis to automatically give the system's planets and moons names in a numerical fashion when you name the start, and you can change their names if you want to.
