Anaheim was led in scoring by Shawn Cable who recorded one goal and three assists.  Peter Morgan and Scott Stewart each recorded a pair of goals.  Netminder Matt King earned the win stopping 30 of 32 shots faced.
The Storm took the lead, 6-5, on an unassisted, shorthanded tally from Cable at the 11:29 mark of the third quarter.  Ryder Bateman's power play goal with 2:58 remaining in the quarter snapped the Swarm's scoreless streak at 28:06 and left the game tied, 6-6, heading into the final quarter.
Anaheim regained the lead on a B.J. Potter goal with 9:45 remaining in the game and Peter Morgan upped the Storm's lead to 8-6 with 5:52 left in the contest.

The Storm, who were down 6-2 at the beginning of the second quarter, rallied in the third quarter by scoring five goals, shutting out the Wings.

Anaheim, CA (October 26, 2004) - The National Lacrosse League's (NLL) Anaheim Storm announced today that the team acquired defender Cam Bergman, goalie Matt King, forward Shawn Cable and defender Rory Graham from Minnesota in exchange for goalie Matt Disher and defenseman Teddy Jenner.
A native of Coquitlam, British Columbia, Bergman was selected by the Anaheim Storm in the second round of the 2003 NLL Entry Draft.
Disher was acquired by Anaheim as the first pick of the 2003 Ottawa Dispersal Draft; Jenner came to Anaheim in the fall of 2003 through a trade with Rochester.

If it was not apparent enough the Colorado Mammoth was exceedingly frustrated after losing at Philadelphia on Friday night, any doubt was erased moments before the opening faceoff with the Anaheim Storm on Saturday night.
Mammoth defenseman Dave Stilley exchanged haymakers with Storm counterpart Damien Davis seconds before the ball was put in play, a brawl that lasted roughly 30 seconds before referees separated it.
The Storm has gone 3-23 in two seasons, which begs the question: Did the Mammoth play that sharply or was it just a matter of playing against Anaheim?
