  Analog Devices shares plunge - Boston.com
Shares of Analog Devices Inc. sank to their lowest point in more than three years Friday, the day after the chip maker posted lower-than-expected quarterly results and outlook.
"Analog may represent a majority of the company's revenue, but the low margins and lagging growth generated by the DSP business are weighing down the entire enterprise," wrote Merrill Lynch analyst Joe Osha in a note to investors.
Analog Devices is the second-largest standard analog semiconductor maker, behind Texas Instruments.
