	Analog stick - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
		An analog stick, sometimes called thumbstick, often mistakenly referred to as a joystick, is an input device for a controller (often a game controller) that is used for two-dimensional input.
		A notable exception of this is Sony's iterations of the DualShock controller, where the D-pad and left analog stick are reversed, probably for reasons of symmetry.
		Analog sticks are normally intended to be used with the players' thumbs.

		I can't imagine that there are that many games that could really benefit from a flight stick of this type on the PlayStation or PlayStation 2, except flight games, and I would be surprised if Namco weren't in on the design of the original controller.
		Not that it cost a lot to support this old controller, but rather that Namco made their own flight stick which was sold alongside Ace Combat 5.
		The dual analog sticks predate the Dual Analog Pad (which predates the Dual Shock), so anything that requires that particular type of controller probably won't work with this stick.
