And one note: there is an unexplained pause of a second or so at the 60:25 point, in the middle of a scene, as if there's a layer change.
There are short stretches where the music is pretty shaky, but these sounded to me like a problem with the source material rather than the transfer.
There are bios for some of the cast members as well as the director.

Then the cook, following the written instructions of the host, plays a record album that accuses each of the guests of a hideous crime.
There are some blemishes on the negative, including some scratches, but they aren't as extreme as I was expecting them to be.
There is some inherent audible distortion, but that is to be expected for a film that is more than 50 years old.

THE CINEMA LASER DVD REVIEW-- AND THEN THERE WERE NONE
AND THEN THERE WERE NONE tells the tale of ten strangers that are brought together to spend a weekend at a house on an isolated island off the English coast.
Only after their numbers dwindle to eight to the remaining members of the group realize that none of them are expected to survive the weekend.
There are no traces of digital compression artifacts on the DVD, although from the look of the disc and the slight pause that occurs during the film, I suspect that AND THEN THERE WERE NONE was given dual layer mastering.

"Then There Were None was born from unspoken words, unshed tears and wounded spirits.
Buyers saw the film as a way of telling stories that, at that point, were little known, stories that Hawaiians had been unwilling to tell even to their children or grandchildren out of caution or shame, such as how the language was officially suppressed in the schools.
Then There Were None takes similar liberties to achieve the same non-linear honesty and emotional clarity.

Agatha Christie: And Then There Were None for PC Review - PC Agatha Christie: And Then There Were None Review
Set in the late 1930s, And Then There Were None saw a group of 10 strangers invited under various false pretenses to a mansion on a remote island off the coast of Devon, England, where they were all exposed as perpetrators of murders whom the law, for various reasons, could not touch.
The guests then begin to die in accordance with a nursery rhyme hung inside the mansion, and the guests soon realize that one of them has to be the murderer, creating a mind-boggling mystery and an increasing sense of dread and paranoia.
The challenge within And Then There Were None lies almost entirely in the exploration of the island and your ability to find, combine, and use various items found on the island to further your exploration.

There is no sleuth, the pace is fast, frenzied and breathless, and rather than "types," she takes pains with characterizations.
None of the characters are even likable and once again (see "ABC Murders"), Christie toys with the idea of the serial killer long before such an animal was even heard of.
I first read 'And Then There Were None' as a young adult, and while re-reading noticed that though the prose is not very stylistic or grand, the plot alone is enough to keep you turning pages.

Of course, everything is not as it seems and there will be puzzles to solve and items to combine and disassemble as good ol’ Patrick takes it upon himself to get to the bottom of things and find out who is behind the killings.
And Then There Were None is a point-and-click adventure, so moving Patrick around is a huge chore.
There are multiple endings, so perhaps players might want to maintain multiple save files in order to go back and get all the endings, but aside from that, there really isn’t much incentive for multiple playthroughs.

In order to adapt And Then There Were None to the adventure game medium, the developers, along with writer and designer Lee Sheldon, made several alterations.
And Then There Were None features 2.5D graphics, combining pre-rendered backgrounds with 3D modelled characters.
Bottom-line: And Then There Were None is an enjoyable murder mystery with many excellent elements, but it is let down by sloppy implementation and inattention to detail.

The casting for "And Then There Were None" is exceptionally well done, as each member of this acting team shows complete confidence in his role.

The game Agatha Christie: And Then There Were None uses the same premise as the book, but you play as Patrick Narracott, the boatman who takes the guests to the island.
As a result, the puzzles in And Then There Were None are equal parts laughable, bizarre, and inconsequential, and the game isn’t one you’ll likely enjoy if you buy adventures to test out your “little grey cells” (to quote another Agatha Christie character).

One of the supreme suspense films, René Clair’s And Then There Were None combines the glamour and wit of a Hollywood studio production with a considerable amount of very real suspense.
Clair’s camera seems as interested as we are in getting to the bottom of this mystery, and can be seen peeking through keyholes and around corners as it spies on the guests, who are usually found to be spying on yet another guest.
There’s no doubt that its frights still frighten and its mysteries still puzzle.

Mystery’s best-selling book And Then There Were None by Agatha Christie has been transformed into an adventure game for the PC.
The downside is that there is no option to cut the dialogue short if you are a fast reader, at least the voice acting isn’t terrible so there's something to listen to while you wait for the text to advance.
There are maps in the manual which comes in very handy, and since there is a lot of exploring and backtracking, you’ll be able to navigate the entire house and island by memory in no time.

There is also a challenging point in the game when your key character is poisoned and you must search throughout the mansion and the grounds to find the antidote that is laying on the ground.
