A Joseph England from Burke County, North Carolina lived in North Carolina until about 1827, applied for a Revolutionary War pension in Anderson County, Tennessee 27 Feb 1833 at the age of 70 (he was born 27 Dec 1762).
He was married in 1848 in Burke County and appeared in Anderson County, Tennessee in the 1850 census.
This family was enumerated in Anderson County in 1840 with Titus as head of household, and enumerated in Anderson County in 1850 with Elizabeth as head of household, Titus having died between 1840 and 1850.
