Part of Zambia's population believes that Mazoka is the a-political messiah he claims to be: during interim elections, the UPND has snatched various parliamentary sets from the MMD.

There really must be something special about this private citizen called Anderson Mazoka that top government ministers and a top intelligence officer should go to him at his whims, and not him going to their offices.
