Weeks serviced the Andrea Gail's autopilot system on a couple of occasions on the New Bedford-Fairhaven waterfront since 1983, and once made an unscheduled trip to St. John's, Newfoundland.
He is uncertain whether he met skipper Billy Tyne or other members of the Andrea Gail's ill-fated crew, but has a strong recollection of Bob Brown, who as president of the Sea Gale Corporation, sent the Andrea Gail to sea on its last trip.
