The Observer | Review | Michael and me
Moore accused Disney of censoring his film to protect the tax breaks its Disneyworld complex enjoys in Florida, the state controlled by Jeb Bush, brother of the President (Fahrenheit 9/11 details the cronyism and corruption of the Bush regime, as well as its failings in the 'war against terror').
On stage, Moore was asked why it was that he was flanked by three security men, who stood with their feet apart, hands clasped at their crotches, in an intimidating military stance.
Thereafter Moore moved to New York and television, making zany political series such as TV Nation and The Awful Truth, which were full of Moore's trademark stunts designed to mock greed and ignorance and humbug.

Gary Moore has made a career of straddling the line between hard rock (as a member of Thin Lizzy) and the blues.
Playing in a trio format with Skunk Anansie bassist Cass Lewis and Primal Scream drummer Darrin Mooney, Moore comes off sounding like that annoying kid at the music store trying to play Metallica licks on a purple guitar at ear-melting volume, oblivious to the world around him, fleeing for their lives.
Moore has stated that listening to people such as System of a Down and other "heavy" bands prompted his move into this sort of sound, but he has missed an elemental fact about such music -- namely, its all hard rock music, not the blues.

 Hedonism
The ‘not all’ objection claims that pleasure has value only under certain conditions; perhaps when its subject has an intrinsic pro-attitude toward it, when it is a characteristic feature of human nature, or when it does not arise from and is not directed at a bad deed or character state or state of affairs.
The ‘not only’ objection claims that much else has value; perhaps creating a beautiful new fabric or giving a child a good start in life, being brave or generous, relating to others as a trustworthy friend or a constructive critic, or achieving any of these things in an autonomous way.
The intrinsic experience account claims there is something distinctive in pleasure's intrinsic character; in its feeling, raw feel, phenomenology, quale, or hedonic tone, or in ‘what it is like’ to have such experience (see Moore 1903, 12-13; Broad 1930; Sumner 1996, 87-91).
