Meeting with Andrew Beveridge of eCOGRA
Andrew had invited me as an offshoot of our email correspondence over the Bella Vegas issue, and since I had long had issues I wanted to discuss with them, this was the ideal opportunity to get it on.
Andrew pointed out that this is not an age-check, but an anti-fraud device, and though this is the kind of player "turn off" the operators dislike apparently working successfully, it is not a way of guarding against underage play.
Andrew makes no bones of the fact that the G4 guidelines are simply impractical to implement for the members - the "age verification" guideline we had already covered in great deal, in which he made the case for age-verification upfront being a serious problem in terms of realistic implementation.

Andrew Cash : Hi - Listen, Review and Buy at ARTISTdirect
Neither the naive, golly-geez pop of his self-titled debut or the stylish, over-worked music and hairstyle of sophomore release Boomtown sat very comfortably on the singer/songwriter/rocker's shoulders.
The social commitment of Cash's lyrics remained true, but the music environment felt artificial and imposed.
With the backing of a permanent band that shares a common organic aesthetic, Hi projects Cash light-years forward while remaining true to the energy and spirit of L'Etranger, the crucial alternative band that he fronted in the early '80s.

Cash Brothers weather strain by keeping busy - Pittsburgh Tribune-Review
Musically, Andrew Cash calls the new album "our version of a rock record," but it's not going to be filed next to the new Metallica release.
What does come across in the Cash Brothers' music is a sense of timeliness; it seems they have tapped into the spirit of the American heartland by addressing the issues of the day via individual stories, not through overarching thematic expositions.
But Andrew Cash, while admitting that many of his songs have a melancholic tone, doesn't think that he and Peter are specifically looking for Hamlet-like figures.

Andrew and Peter Cash decided to collaborate in 1996 after each had pursued a number of music projects on his own in Canada since the late '80s.
It’s obvious the Cashes have listened closely to American country and rock music (there’s a strong Bruce Springsteen feel to "You’re It"), but they write unique melodies and their lyrics are filled with concrete, memorable images.
Andrew Cash’s guitar playing is perhaps the biggest reason A Brand New Night comes across so well.
