Onderdonk said FDA tests on the sensor showed a 96 percent success rate for urinary-tract infection and preliminary tests show similar results for the BV sensor.
Onderdonk said that clinical trials for the BV sensor end in February, with reports to the FDA to follow.

Andrew Onderdonk estimated that he needed at least 10,000 men to build his section of the railway from Port Moody to Eagle Pass.
The BC government tried to ban the Chinese, but Prime Minister John A. Macdonald knew, “either you must have this labour or you can’t have the railway.” Onderdonk paid the Chinese less, only a dollar a day, forced them to buy all their supplies from the company store, and made them build their own camps.
There were concerns for the slight build of the Chinese, but Onderdonk reasoned that if they could build the Great Wall, they could surely build a railway.

Onderdonk didn’t lay out the Odlum sidings; there was nothing but Mainline here until the Kettle Valley Railway (KVR) began construction in December of 1913 on a bridge to bring their rails from Hope across the River to the Mainline.
It was largely the cattle trade that enabled Hope to be there when Andrew Onderdonk and his crews began spending money in the neighbourhood in the spring of 1880.
Onderdonk’s CPR construction crews came and went leaving a ferry in operation across the River between the settlement and the Railway’s station and tote road on the Fraser’s right bank.

Andrew Onderdonk's recommendation, presented on his behalf by Illig, was that the guidelines be endorsed and that a description plus appropriate references and/or URLs be included in the 2004 Instructions to Authors for JCM and any other applicable ASM journals.
Onderdonk felt that the guidelines were already well disseminated via other publications and that actual republication in JCM was not necessary.
