		The Andros Trophy season has still to reach a conclusion but legendary Ice Racing champion Yvan Muller and his Kia Rio Ice Racer laid claim to victory with two races still to run.
		Yvan Muller amazed spectators and competitors as he pulled out all the stops in mild weather and bad track conditions to secure his ninth championship victory while Kia and Kmotorsport claimed their second constructor's title in Serre Chevalier, last weekend (21st/22nd January).
		Luc Marchetti, Kmotorsport's Chief Engineer for the Andros Trophy, created his own company "Exagon-engineering" less than six month ago, and is now in charge of studies, construction and development of the Rio Ice Racing Cars.

		That victory came despite the fact that there are still two races to run in the Andros Trophy season, but Muller now has an unassailable lead in the points over the Fiat of Jean-Philippe Dayraut.
		Muller's opposition has been as strong as ever in 2004-05, with multiple F1 world champion Alain Prost returning for a second crack at ice racing, and other single-seater converts such as Franck Lagorce proving themselves to be competitive.
		Once the Andros trophy is complete, Muller will return to work with the VX Racing team as they prepare the new Astra Sport Hatch for the 2005 season, a season where Muller will be joined in the team by Colin Turkington.

		There are seven rounds across Europe, including a round in Paris at the Stadium of France, where an ice rink replaces football, with the next round is this weekend in Andorra.

		The event has taken place on ice tracks in Super-Besse, an area known for its ski resorts, with the participation of 24 drivers from different nationalities, the newspaper said.
		Karam clinched the trophy in the promotion category in which two-wheel drive cars are used.
