Andiwork II is Andy Creeggan's second solo album and the first to be nationally distributed.
Distinct in his innovation, Creeggan starts with a jazz base, as a common, grounding foundation while the winding, rebellious extremities of melody and theme wander into odd, mischievous, discolored rooms and off-the-wall territories with ease, conviction and curiosity.

Jim and Andy Creeggan were founders of the creative, witty and musically astute Barenaked Ladies, appearing together on their superb US debut release Gordon.
Andy left Barenaked Ladies in 1995 to take a break from the rigors of the pop music world and pursue more formal musical studies, He took an increasing interest in World Music and ethnic styles and also pursued instrumental compositions through yet another ongoing project called Andiwork.
The younger Creeggan said that he would play the guitar softly for her as she slept in her illness, and Andy said that the song's riff evolved that way, being one of the few things that would fit in that situation.

Though the music of Brothers Creeggan is softer and deliberately less pop-oriented than that of BNL, relying more on gentle swing than driving beats and clever wordplay, Creeggan says the band's sound is the perfect fusion of his and Jim's musical interests (the touring trio is rounded out by drummer Ian McLauchlan).

Eventually, it will emerge that Andy Creeggan, former keyboard man and percussionist for the highly successful Barenaked Ladies, had a yearning to know more than the pop and jazz music that had so influenced him as a high school musician growing up in Scarborough, Ontario.
The second movement, a three-voice a capella song in a minor key, between Andy, Jim and Andy's wife, Natacha Hébert, is positively cathedral-like in its ethereal meanderings.
