  Andy Gibb biography
Andrew Roy Gibb was born March 5th., 1958 in Manchester, England, the youngest of the Gibb Brothers.
Andy interrupted his honeymoon in Bermuda (where he and Kim stayed at the house of Robert Stigwood) and headed for Miami where he and Barry, who flew over from his home in Douglas, formulated plans for a debut album at Criteria Studios in Miami North.
On March 10th, 1988 Andy died at the John Radcliff hospital in Oxford, England from myocarditis, (an inflammation of the heart muscle caused by a viral infection).

andy was a hugely wasted talent......BUT all you have to do is listen to some of his work(and barry's) and it makes you wonder what might have been.
Andy Gibb and Olivia Newton-John made quite a pair 20-some-odd years ago.
Gibb's follow-up to "Shadow Dancing" should have been stellar; instead, it's largely an accumulation of older brother Barry's songs sung lamely by the youngest Gibb, who was, sadly, well on his way to drug-induced oblivion by the time "After Dark" was released.

In 1958, the Gibb family moved to Brisbane, Australia and the Brothers Gibb began performing at local nightclubs, and eventually on a local television show.
During the "Spirits" sessions, the Bee Gees recorded "Desire" with brother Andy on guest lead vocals, but it was rejected and later appeared on one of Andy's solo albums.
Their last live show together was called "Live By Request", a special shown on A&E. Maurice Gibb, who had been the instrumental leader of the Bee Gees during their final years as a group, died on January 12, 2003 from a cardiac arrest, while in surgery.
