Gloucester Rugby Club : Gomarsall One Step Closer To Holy Grail
Andy Gomarsall today took one step closer to his 'holy grail', the England number nine shirt today, after being named in Clive Woodward's match day twenty-two to face the World Champions Australia at Twickenham on Saturday.
At the end of last season Gomarsall was enjoying a strong run of form and it was no coincidence that a Gomarsall firing on all cylinders was instrumental in guiding Gloucester to their first silver ware in twenty years.
Gomarsall was justifiably disappointed not to make the starting line up and then, as Woodward tried to cover all bases he was also left out of the twenty-two.
