		Agriculture Minister and Parry Sound-Muskoka MP Andy Mitchell said that the federal government needs to work hard with its provincial counterparts and those in the industry to “create an environment that will allow producers to earn a living, be successful, to obtain, from the market place, a far return on their investments and their labour.
		Mitchell announced $488 million to be used, in part, to help open the border, create new markets, increase slaughter capacity and fund farmers who hold back on sending their stock to packing houses.
