In addition to the participation of longtime collaborator Raymond “Pig” Watts, he credits the contributions and chemistry of singer/lyricist Lucia Cifarelli, Jules Hodgson (guitar/bass/keyboards) and Andy Selway (drums) as being crucial to the new disc’s cohesion and surprising energy.
It was a whole new experience to have a real drummer playing on an entire album and to have Jules take on serious programming and engineering tasks in addition to him being a fantastic multi-instrumentalist.

dOc DVD Review: KMFDM: WWIII Tour 2003 (2004)
The industrial outfit KMFDM is allegedly an abbreviation for Kein Mehrheit Fur Die Mitleid (roughly No Pity For The Majority), though popular rumor in the mid-1980s was that it stood for Kill Mother F***ing Depeche Mode, which is so fitting considering their being quite literally the antithesis to radio friendly synth pop.
The band, still anchored by Konietzko but featuring an revolving array of talent (including recurring Brit vocalist/guitarist Ray Watts), eventually relocated to Chicago, and then to Seattle, disbanded in 1999, returned briefly as an entity known as MDFMK, and then got back together formally—with their current lineup—once again as KMFDM in 2002.
This live concert disc from Sanctuary, recorded in 2003, finds a newly retooled KMFDM still built around Konietzko and Watts, with the added iconic strength of former Drill vocalist Lucia Cifarelli (the sole American in the band), along with Jules Hodgson (guitar/keyboards), Steve White (bass) and Andy Selway (drums).

 Interviews
After battling the war with former labels and former band members, in 2001, Sascha was ready to rally his new world army, including guitarist Joolz Hodgson and Steve White, vocalists Raymond “Pig”; Watss and Lucia, and on drums, Andy Selway.
The other driving factor of the new album was to take production in a different direction, which led to working with a live drummer in the studio as opposed to their past method of having electronics at the forefront.
Although they still used sequences and loops to retain their drum and bass quality on such tracks as “More On” and “Last Things”, the machine side was used to a lesser degree, and the depth and beats became more organic through Andy’s skills at the kit.

KMFDM concert review, The Rave, Milwaukee, WI Oct. 14, 2005
The Kapt'n of KMFDM, Sascha Konietzko, has banded together his new group of musicians for a worldwide tour in support of KMFDM's 2005 release Hau Ruck.
Giving the same finger to the establishment with "New American Century," KMFDM brought the same intensity to the new song but with a more balanced assault of programming (by Konietzko) and live drumming (by Andy Selway).
Returning to a wild crowd for two encores, KMFDM proved why they have remained a mainstay in industrial rock with a powerful performance of old and new material alike.

Current KMFDM guitarists Steve White and Jules Hodgson (as well as former KMFDM guitarist Günter Schulz) and drummer Andy Selway have been involved with PIG.
Sometimes when Watts joins KMFDM as part of the touring lineup, the concerts are billed as "KMFDM featuring PIG" and perform a few PIG songs.
Watts (along with White, Hodgson, and Selway) was immortalized in the lyrics to the KMFDM song "Intro" from the 2003 album WWIII.

KMFDM "WWIII" --- THE MUSIC SYNDICATE
Add these intense lyrics to KMFDM’s diverse style, and you get a glimpse of the band’s true charm – music that is thought-provoking as well as contusive to dancing…and even headbanging!
Alongside Konietzko are the bludgeoning multi-guitar crunch of Joolz Hodgson and Steve White, the boisterous percussion work of Andy Selway, the dark, debaucherous vocal emanations of Raymond “Pig” Watts and spitfire hellcat vocals of Lucia Cifarelli, whose fervent vocal style emerges as provocative, evocative, and oft times contemptuous.
KMFDM is not a band to speak bold words without the muscle to back itself up, therefore an extensive North American tour is already slated to promote the release of WWIII throughout October and November (36 shows in 40 days).

And Hau Ruck ("Heave Ho" in German) fans similar flames.
"The beatings will continue until morale improves," growls Sascha Konietzko on the opening song, "Free Your Hate." The ringleader (and Seattle resident) propels his dark humor and incendiary political diatribes with thumping bass lines and some blistering beats from drummer Andy Selway.
But Konietzko ditches the digital electronics that became part of the band's arsenal over the years in favor of a bunch of analog gear he probably last used in the '80s.
