		Andrew Wasal (Andy) Seminick (September 12, 1920 â“ February 22, 2004) was an American Major League Baseball catcher and right-handed batter.
		Seminick helped to convert Boone from a third baseman to one of the best defensive catchers in baseball.
		Andy Seminick died in Melbourne, Florida, at 83 years of age.

		Seminick was born in Pierce, W. Va. He came to Brevard County in 1961 from Elzabethton, Tenn. He was with the Philadelphia Phillies organization for 42 years, as a player, manager, scout and as a coach.
