	Angeles National Forest - Welcome!
		The Fire Danger Level on the Angeles National Forest has been raised from "Very High" to "Extreme" effective Wednesday, August 1, 2007, The increase is intended to raise public awareness that conditions are worsening and the risk of wildfire in the Forest is steadily increasing.
		The Angeles National Forest will be submitting a cooperative agreement application to the State of California, Department of Parks and Recreation, Division of Off-Highway Motor Vehicle Recreation for 2007/2008 grant funding and is interested in receiving your comments on the application.
		The Angeles National Forest recently completed an inventory of "wheeled routes" — existing roads and trails on the Forest, whether authorized or unauthorized — and has produced maps of the inventory in an updated map format.
