Producer Angelo Medina is in negotiations with the National Basketball Association (NBA) to hold several of its games at the Jose Miguel Agrelot Coliseum in Hato Rey, and has already scheduled its first concert for next month.
Medina hopes to produce large-scale events, such as the Latin Grammy Awards, at the coliseum.
Medina said local producers are willing to hold events at the $230 million facility despite the recent controversy embroiling the government; SMG, the coliseum’s operator; and local producers (CB April 22).

Angelo Medina, the Puerto Rican empresario who managed Ricky Martin for 12 years, has filed a $63.5 million countersuit against his former client, alleging breach of contract, unjust enrichment and pain and suffering.
Medina's suit, filed March 3 in Superior Court in San Juan, Puerto Rico, is in response to an action Ricky Martin Enterprises (RME) filed against him Feb. 17 in New York Supreme Court.
Medina began handling Martin early in his career, when the singer was relatively unknown.

Although these are good news, aparently the problem is that Angelo Medina has a promotional contract with DirectTV and they don't want to allow Dish to carry the channel.
The action taken by Angelo Medina is discriminatory, either they have to cover the whole Island by air "OTA"; or they are violating some point in the law.
I think that the problem is not money, Angelo Medina has an advertising contract with DirecTV, I think that this is why Deportes 13 is not on dish.

I called Dish, they can not do anything, called mlb.com, the mlb.tv package is also blocked, they can nto do anything neither, called Angelo Medina office, they told me to speak with some engineer from the stationm to see how I can get a signal, I haven't contacted the engineer yet.
I called several times this afternoon Angelo Medina's office (787-724-3277) I was refered to a person called Orlin Goble, he is supposed to be an engineer with channel 13, all of the afternoon I could only get a voice mail, he never answered.
We should keep making pressure, start to make calls to angelo medina until someone has an answer, and also email Fortuno, is very easy go to www.house.gov/fortuno/ there you can email him.
