		I clearly wasn't expecting much from these girlies and their latest offerings to the pop world when I purchased my copy of Angels With Dirty Faces, dithering at the checkout, at whether I should put fourteen quid's worth of trust into a trio of girlies, based purely on the 'Babes 'Round Round' track.
		Though these are strong songs, others such as 'Angels With Dirty Faces' (surprisingly teamed with the timid sound of 'Stronger' and released as a double A side as their current single) appear to let their effort down.
		As a title track, 'Angels With Dirty Faces' is surprisingly lacking, and in parts becomes quite girl band-ish.

		The direction is flawless and Cagney's final, long walk is drenched in shadow just until he is about to enter the chamber and all of a sudden, his surroundings brighten up.
		I just can't stand those kids - I've seen several of their films, including their later "comedies," and they just don't work for me. On the plus side, Bogie is always fun to watch and Curtiz directs with his usual flair.
