Wild London / Features / Home - Morning Star
In her Morning Star letter (May 24) criticising what she called my "bizarre interpretation of the general election results," Angie Bray rejected my view that her party did poorly in the capital, citing large swings to the Conservatives from Labour in a number of London constituencies.
The way to stop any such Tory gains in the future is for Labour to place itself at the head of the progressive anti-Tory majority, not try to compete with Angie Bray and her colleagues in appealing to the Daily Mail's agenda.
Just because Tories like Angie Bray refuse to accept what lies behind the recent Tory gains, this does not mean that progressive political forces should also bury their heads in the sand.
