After returning to Anglesea after the 189Km/117 Mi loop ride and eating a warm meal, it was about 2:30 AM on Tuesday, October 26, that most riders resumed cycling the first 500Km/313Mi segment along the Great Ocean Road.
The weather for the third and final 300Km/186Mi segment from Port Fairy to the Anglesea Finish was almost perfect daytime at 17C/63F, and night at 13C/52C with clear, cloudless moonlit night sky until Lorne where cloudiness appeared until daylight.
The inbound descent of Laver's Hill in the night did require caution due to the debris in the form of branches and twigs from the rainforest trees that the rain storm from Tasmania a few days earlier caused.

So we headed down the river mouth and caught heaps of bream, all small like allways but they where all consistent.

 Fishing report for Pt Addis, Anglesea, Victoria, Australia
Fished about 1/2 way along the beach toward Anglesea from the carpark on top of the cliff.
I have heard from a few sources that this area is generally quite productive but we didn't see any action.
As I am new to Victoria, any tips or hotspots would be greatly appreciated.

On 1 December 1944 at 11.10 am, RAAF B-25D Mitchell (A47-24) crashed into the sea out from Anglesea, Victoria at a location about 20 miles south of Port Philip Heads.
Joyce Graham, Chief Observer of the Anglesea Volunteer Air Observer Corps (VAOC) saw the bomber practicising out to sea on the firing range.
The Anglesea and District Historical Society has their original VAOC Log Books which contain details of this crash.

The foreshore has a nicer, more open feel, but the amenities blocks in the holiday park would have to be better than the mess I walked into in the men's.
Apart from being pleasant and quiet, and having an immaculate toilet block, there's nothing to do in or near the park, so you have to drive every where.
We had to shuffle back and forth about 7 times to move the van over enough in order to get off the site we had.
