		The idea for Angry Machines came from the fact that there are thousands and thousands tribute-bands for Sabbath, Maiden, Priest etc but it seems that nobody really plays Dio-covers.
		Angry Machines was founded in summer 2002 in Oulu Finland when Ari and Jussi asked Aki to join a yet nameless band.
		In January 2004 Angry Machines recorded their first 3 song promo Stay Angry and in April was the band's first ever gig.

		Behler said 25 to 30 percent of the machines in one shipment to the warehouse either crashed upon booting or had problems with their real-time clocks, causing the systems to register the date inaccurately then boot improperly or freeze up altogether.
		Behler said one patch was applied to machines when he came to the warehouse in June, a second patch was applied in July and a third in August after he left the warehouse.

		Sure the lyrics had a fantasy punch, but someone forgot to leave Ronnie a note about those crap-ass plodding themes that were destroying his credibility and career for they were back in force.
		On the other hand, "Angry Machines" is a stunning example of what you don't want to do with heavy metal.
		The lyrics are trite, the music is plodding in that "Angry Machines" sense, and the whole affair feels as if its been locked in a dungeon and is screaming at the top of its lungs "Filler material!" Even searching through the remains of the cell next door uncovers little to redeem itself.

		The main problem is that the band often seems to concentrate on sound more than songwriting -- the album sounds good while it's playing, but not enough of the riffs or melodies stick with the listener afterwards to judge it a complete return to form.

		On one hand the material is "back to basics" which fans had been crying out for after the Industrial sounding 'Angry Machines', while 'Craig Goldy' makes a welcome return replacing 'Tracy G' on guitar.
		Unfortunately 'Magica' is blatantly lacking brisker material and does seems to plod along, thankfully the penmanship is especially strong despite my personal opinion that the overall concept is fairly weak.
		Next up is 'Feed my Head' a more aggressive number that's a little reminiscent of 'Angry Machines', a tad crude in places but the harmonious 'Dio' vocals mid track are a highlight.

		"Angry machines" is not the album I would recommend to newcomers, but it has qualities.
