  Animal Liberation Press Office
The North American Animal Liberation Press Office (NAALPO) was founded to communicate the actions, strategies, and philosophy of the animal liberation movement to the media and the public.
Since animal liberation actions either go unreported in the media or are uncritically vilified as "violent" and "terrorist" with no attention paid to the suffering that industries and individuals gratuitously inflict on animals, NAALPO seeks to clarify the motivation and nature of actions taken in defense of animals.
While the Animal Liberation Front, or ALF, is currently the most active liberation group, the Press Office will report on ANY act of animal liberation, and provide the press and general public with information on the actions and ideology behind them.

Animal Liberation Front - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Animal Liberation Front (ALF) is a name used internationally by animal liberation activists who engage in direct action on behalf of animals, or in protest of the animal testing, vivisection, fur, meat, egg, or dairy industries.
One of the most important ALF actions in the U.S., according to Best, was the May 1984 raid on the University of Pennsylvania's head-injury laboratory, where primates were being struck in the head with pneumatic devices, and subjected to g-forces up to 3,000 g, in order to develop safer American football helmets.
Early ALF covert operations tended to centre on the removal, or liberation, of animals from vivisection laboratories.

The Animal Liberation Front (ALF) is a name, which tends to be used by activists who carry out illegal, but totally non-violent acts on behalf of animals.
ALF activists regularly break into factory farms, laboratories and other places where animals are being cruelly treated and take away as many animals as they can manage.
By taking animals away from such places, the ALF have saved many lives and have also been able to take photographs and documents which legal campaigning groups use on their leaflets in order to show the public what goes on 'behind closed doors'.
