International Anime Distribution is attempting to create a market for commercial “fan-subs” to be provided throughout the world in various languages.

Hard rock and 1980s anime is also still 'in' with the current teen generation, and will demonstrate to them that Dad may not be so square, after all (A Goofy Movie, anybody?).

Tenchi Muyo is one of the animes that not only got me into anime but kept me coming back for more.
It is without a doubt one of the most influential animes in the harem subgenre, paving the way for such shows as Love Hina, Negima, and Vandread.
It was created by Anime International Company, one of my favorite anime studios, who have created many great shows, such as El-Hazard and Battle Athletes.

More distribution companies cutting themselves a slice of the market and the welcome return of Manga Entertainment who pretty much kick started the anime movement in the UK.
Unfortunately though it wasn't all good in 2004: anime finally bowed out of TV scheduling apart from the interminable reruns of Dragonball and Pokemon, and the manga reading scene came under fire from that paragon of public decency the Daily Mail.
Well the company that brought us Evangelion, Nadesico and Noir are not going to roll over and give MVM the crown of best anime label around and have lined up some great titles for 2005.

The Japanese companies who produce the anime currently don't care about fansubs any more than they cared about doujinshis (doujinshis are comics produced by fans, often using copyrighted characters that are sold for profit in small quantities).
I will say that the two viewpoints are not contradictory: AIC probably WOULD like people to stop distributing fansubs of their titles, but does not plan to stop it at this time.
After all, there are real people who work for anime companies, who need and even enjoy their jobs...

I thought “it’d sure be nice if fansubbers could make legit digis and sell ‘em so everyone would be happy,” and after over a year of research and planning and debate, here we are.
In the past both licensing companies and the original production companies have been quite lenient and tolerant with Fan Subbing groups because it is often the fan-subber that sheds light on the latest animes to the world outside of Japan.

There are plenty of laughs to be had if you’re ready to let your guard down to watch an anime that doesn’t require a lot of mental focus.
This is a reoccurring problem in some animes, and I don’t see any reasonable reason for it to occur.
If this anime is to be worthy of continued watching, the comedy and adventure should only continue as long as the substance can follow and not leave me to wonder where this anime is headed.

That's too bad, because while the overall gist of this anime is easy to comprehend, a good deal more information would've helped.

SINGAPORE, November 30: The trailer for Justeen, an anime series co-produced by Singapore’s Nanyang Technological University (NTU) and the Japanese animation studio Anime International Company (AIC), premiered at the Asia TV Forum this week.
The show is the result of an agreement signed in June between the two companies intended to build upon AIC’s anime expertise, with shows like Tenchi Muyo!
It is hoped that the technology will expand Singapore’s presence in the international animation work-for-hire market.

This anime doesn't expect you to take it seriously and doesn't take itself seriously either.
It's a very light weight anime, something that can be enjoyed when you want a "no brainer" to watch, or if you enjoy non-serious sports anime, or you've just watched Princess Nine and want something to fill the gap!!
