Television inevitably has to edit to extremes, and having the transcripts available online is not only appreciated, but commended.
Good to see Anita McNaught keeping her fingers in the New Zealand media pie.
He says he's a reporter, but because of his status he's "a reporter who's allowed to say what he thinks." Not having an open opinion, or reporting bare facts without context is, according to Fisk, tantamount to lying.

As for Anita Mc Naught, of course she is a Brit but like so many in the media there, including Ms Mc Naught, they had their on the job training in NZ.
Also, I thought Anita McNaught "batted for the opposition", or "the same team" or whatever means she is a dike.

Getting together a bunch of ordinary folks with varying degrees of a handle on the facts and expecting them to create illumination on live TV was always going to be ambitious.
It was a big call to bring Anita McNaught over from her lovely life in England and ask her to preside over some angry - and in some cases plain stupid - people, but she did her best, as did Kerre Woodham and Robert Rakete, with Rakete probably the surprise standout.
I don't know if Maori-versus-Pakeha was ever going to be a useful format.

I tend to watch BBC World News the least of the three 24-hour news services on DStv.
The only BBC anchors who can hold me to the service are the crisply spoken Anita McNaught and the obviously intelligent Mike Kemsley (or is it Emslie?).
Of course, HARDtalk with the persistent Tim Sebastian is a must if I'm in.

Back in London I stuck around for another week for my birthday - a few of us met up at CherryJam, a wee club in Notting Hill.
We even saw a celebrity, self-proclaimed CherryJam regular, Anita McNaught!
A few nights later we went to the Loop CD launch at Notting Hill Arts Club and saw lots of familiar faces from Wellies.
