Highly regarded costume designer who amassed over 30 Broadway credits before entering film with George Roy Hill's THE WORLD OF HENRY ORIENT (1964).
Roth earned her first solo credit on John Schlesinger's MIDNIGHT COWBOY (1969) and went on to collaborate with filmmakers including Herbert Ross, Brian De Palma, Milos Forman, Karel Reisz and Alan Pakula.
She designed the costumes for the original Broadway production of The Odd Couple and has continued to work with Mike Nichols ever since.
