AnnaMoffo is the most beautiful soprano that I have ever heard.
Her best roles, in my opinion, were Violetta, Butterfly, Mimì, and Lucia, in that order, although I haven't heard her Luisa Miller, Gilda, Manon, or anything that she didn't record.

The previous reviewer is such a Moffo groupie that she can't see past her prejudices.
You have to check out her Violetta and her Lucia although, it's is the compromise between the perfect voice of Sutherland and the heartbreak of Callas, brava, La Divina, in Violetta, Callas is Violetta, by far in this signature role I and all others think, BRAVA, BRAVA!!!!!.
Why Moffo never achieved the legendary status I don't know, but maybe it is all in the press.
