When I watch the women gymnasts do the floor portion (the tumbling runs) they often put in a number of ballet steps: balancés, arabesque tours, attitude tours, etc. However, what drives me crazy are their hands and specifically their fingers; all stiff and splayed out.
This is probably true....the film stops a second or two before she is completely "dead." But, certainly Amelia I think you would agree it is one of the few ways in which someone who never hd the privilege of seeing her alive could get some idea of how she danced.
