 The Isles of Scilly - Shipwrecks and Valhalla
The channels between St. Mary's and St. Agnes/Gugh - the 'Spanish' and 'Bartholomew Ledges' and also between Tresco and Bryher hold the highest concentation of shipswrecks with a large number also occupying the area west of Annet.
The Isles of Scilly are the site of many, many shipwrecks over the years - there are 530 registered wrecks around the archipelago.

Two excellent guides to the islands are the Friendly Map and Guide to exploring the Isles of Scilly and Walking in the Isles of Scilly by Paddy Dillon.
The Isles of Scilly lie some 28 miles southwest of Land's End and everyone visiting Cornwall should make a point of visiting at least one of them.
Their rugged scenery and myriad of small islands along with the chance to see rare seabirds and seals make the Isles of Scilly one of my favourite destinations.
