Lang dated private investigator and former superhero Jessica Jones briefly, but broke it off when he learned Jessica was pregnant with the child of Luke Cage, another superhero.

The most prominent item on the cover is the ass of the ant Scott Lang is riding, although the big, goofy pink villain Darren Cross is also a large part of the design.
Scott Lang (and his daughter) have appeared off and on in the decades that followed, but I can't help but think that his potential as a character was really thrown away even before he was incinerated in Avengers #500.
Lang quickly (perhaps too quickly, but hey, it was the '80s, folks) figures out how to work with the ants and use the costume's shrinking canisters, and flies off to CTE to find the good doctor.

During the training room exercise, Wonder Man tears through the first few obstacles when suddenly a huge robot pops out of the floor and is about to smash his giant fists down on him and suddenly stops.

The dinner date gets off to a rocky start when Scott asks her not to indulge in alcohol as he's been warned about her inability to control herself when drunk, or the amount of alcohol she consumes.
While their dinner date is momentarily interrupted by a passing costumed slugfest, we see they both decide to enjoy the rest of their date, rather than play super-hero.

Milligan and Allred stage an homage of sorts to the classic Avengers story where Ant Man did some exploring inside the Vision’s synthetic body, but last I knew, Venus was a just a mass of barely coherent energy kept in check by her Xavier-designed uniform, and prone to explosion to boot.
Still, it’s not much bigger of a jump than other convenient situations that have occurred on this team, and the strange world Ant Man encounters inside is certainly abnormal with a surreal logic of its own.

So Scott diligently set out to Smallville to retrieve the schematics from Lana, but ended up helping her build her own Ant-Man costume.
I assume you all knew that Insect Queen was Lana Lang's super-heroine identity in the '60s Superboy comics, but I thought I probably better mention it just in case any of you didn't and wondered why the story ended so abruptly.
