ABC Sports - Razov makes his statement in 74th second
-- Ante Razov's early strike certainly wasn't Paul Caliguiri's "shot heard around the world" from 1989 that vaulted the United States to its first World Cup in 40 years, but it certainly was heard around the Bay State, within Sam's Army and deep in the heart of a tiny Caribbean nation.
Razov explained his topspin strike of fury in the easiest of terms, sounding like any 10-year-old recounting one of his recreation league goals to a group of friends.
For Razov, his goal and all-around strong play the rest of the night, including a goal called back in the 64th minute on an offside call, couldn't have come at a better time.

Ante Razov and Bob Bradley are not quite as well-known or accomplished a pair as any of those listed.
However, Bradley is quick to point out that just because he gave Razov his first real chance in MLS (the southern California native striker played six combined games for the Los Angeles Galaxy in 1996 and 1997) does not mean that the relationship is one-sided.
That level of respect is clearly important to Razov; his 2005 campaign got off to such a rough start in large part because of a lack of respect between he and then-Columbus Crew head coach Greg Andrulis.
