Both Anthemis nobilis and Matricaria recutica are grown commercially in the 21st century, the reputation of both having been undiminished by the advent of a more rigourous scientific approach in both medicine and cosmetics.

 S-weeds 565: Anthemis cotula
When the "Pineappleweed" started getting white ray florets on the two heads coming into flower at the same time I brought it to the scanner and made a number of "live" scans (flower heads weighted down with a pair of chopsticks).
I checked out some nice shots of the Anthemis cotula at bioimages.org - with bracts well visible.
Not until Erik reported from a comparison of the Anthemis and the Chamaemelum in the herbarium, oriented to the bracts in particular: with those narrow and entirely herbaceous ones it can hardly be anything but the Stinking Chamomile, after all.

Anthemis are a genus of clump forming and mat forming short lived perennials, grown for their attractive aromatic foliage and daisy like flowers.
The golden-eyed flowers which range in colour from white through lemon-yellows and onto golden oranges, are borne in succession from late spring and until late summer and in many cases make excellent cut flowers.
Seeds can also be direct sown outdoors in early spring, after all danger of frost.
