His second ex-wife, Judith Balaban Quinn, by whom he had one of his children, is the author of the book, "The Bridesmaids", about her friend, the late Princess Grace of Monaco, in whose wedding she served as a bridesmaid.
Franciosa died January 19, 2006 at UCLA Medical Center in Los Angeles, California, after suffering a massive stroke.
He was the father of actor Christopher Franciosa.

On one level, particularly with B-movie stars Franciosa and John Saxon in the cast, Tenebre resembles nothing so much as a better-than-average made-for-TV shocker.
It's sometimes amusing, as when Argento confesses that Snow White was one of his favorite films as a child or when he calls Franciosa, "very Actors Studio." It can also be somewhat revealing, particularly when Argento discusses women.
