Anthony Le Tallec (born October 3, 1984 in Hennebont, France) is a French football player, who plays as a forward or an attacking midfielder.
He was signed from Le Havre by Liverpool in 2001, along with his cousin Florent Sinama-Pongolle.
Le Tallec only featured in France's final group match, after they had already secured qualification, and he was substituted after 61 minutes.

I disagree on Le Talec though, he was the driving force and he set up some of Pongolle's goals, while scoring a few himself and was making space for others by his prescence only, because of the threat he was posing.
