2000 AD Graphic novels, collections and trade paperbacks
This new trade paperback - collecting material originally serialized in 2000 A.D. and Judge Dredd Megazine - is written by Dan Abnett (LEGION) and features art by SINISTER DEXTER co-creator David Millgate, Anthony Williams, Charles Gillespie, Simon Davis (JLA: RIDDLE OF THE BEAST) and Henry Flint (Judge Dredd/Aliens).
With puns, winking pop culture references and ultraviolence, Abnett lets the audience know that he's studied not just Quentin Tarantino's Pulp Fiction (the obvious inspiration), but many of the films which inspired Tarantino, along with such comics as Frank Miller's Sin City.
Commentary: The first set of Sinister Dexter episodes shows writer Dan Abnett hitting the ground running with a small cast of perfectly-defined, amoral bastards and knowing exactly what he wants to do with them.
