An updated world review of interactions between marine mammals and fisheries
Risso's dolphins are also taken in unknown numbers (14% of the cetacean entanglements observed) in the New England swordfish driftnet fishery (Read 1990).
Estimates of catches in the French albacore driftnet fishery for 1990 were 420–460 dolphins (Antoine 1990); the species involved were both striped and common dolphins.
Risso's dolphin is taken quite frequently in the Sri Lankan fishery (between 6% and 16% of the total cetacean catch - Dayaratne and de Silva 1990).

The Engravings From Risso and Poiteau’s Histoire Naturelle des Orangers
The magnificence Pierre Joseph Redouté brought to the art of rose and lily illustration was equaled by his pupil, Pierre Antoine Poiteau, in the splendid engravings of oranges, lemons and grapefruit presented in the Histoire Naturelle des Orangers.
The Histoire Naturelle des Orangers was dedicated to the Duchesse de Berry and its vibrant illustrations can be considered glowing masterpieces of French botanical illustration, completed during the period in which France excelled in the field.

Driftnet fisheries and their impacts on non-target species: a worldwide review
The Italian swordfish driftnet fishery was banned in 1990, and restarted at least temporarily during 1991, after much litigation, but with restrictions on the amounts of netting allowed per boat.
The species involved were sperm whales, (23 out of 131, or 17.5%, of entangled animals), Cuvier's beaked whales (1.5%), pilot whales (6%), Risso's dolphins (3%), bottlenose dolphins (8.4%), and striped dolphins (44%).
Read (1990) presented a table of cetacean catches by this fishery, indicating that common dolphins are the most frequently taken species (39%), followed by bottlenose and Risso's dolphins (15% and 14%).

The simplicity of the artist's character designs makes for a sharp contrast with the remarkable level of detail and ambition to be found in such elements at the cityscape settings and the two-dimensional planning maps.
