Lehmden, the owner of the castle of Deutschkreutz, and about his works which had made him famous all over the world.
Anton Lehmden in his castle, the children wrote down their impressions of the artist and his exhibition in English.
Anton Lehmden enjoyed working with the kids - since he liked their paintings and drawings very much, he promised to present some of the children`s works (more than 100) in his next art exhibition in his castle at Deutschkreutz.

Brauer is a co-founder of the Vienna School of Fantastic Realism, toegether with Ernst Fuchs, Rudolf Hausner, Wolfgang Hutter and Anton Lehmden.
Gütersloh promoted Brauer's work within the Vienna School of Fantastic Realism circle of artists, which had formed in the mid-1950s from a post-1946 Viennese surrealist group that had included Brauer along with Edgar Jené, Ernst Fuchs, Wolfgang Hutter, Rudolf Hausner, Anton Lehmden, and Fritz Janschka.
Despite the prevailing art-world taste for abstraction in the 1950s and early 60s, Brauer's work successfully blended high craftsmanship and surrealism in ways that gained him international attention.

His work is very much coined by his impressions of the war, so his dramatic paintings frequently show wrecked tanks, agitated people and ruined bridges.

After the war he returned to Vienna and immersed himself in studies dealing with the unconscious and with the art of Surrealists, particularly that of Max Ernst.

The exhibition features works bythe late Leo Haas, an artist who was interned in the Terezin/Theresienstadt concentration camp, as well as impressions of the camp by contemporary artits from the Anton Lehmden masterclass of the Academy of Visual Arts in Vienna.
The project enables young Austrians to do volunteer work in Holocaust Memorial centres around the world in lieu of military service.
