Antonio Velozo and Luis Gómez were arrested on 20 June 1992 by plainclothes policemen and threatened and severely beaten at the premises of the Investigations Squad.
Antonio Velozo was allegedly hung from a ladder while being accused of having made statements implicating the police in the murder of Abel Solís in September 1991.
Antonio Miguel Fernández, aged 13, was arrested by police on 15 August 1992 in the district of Barranqueras, Resistencia.

They were allegedly being detained in the official residence of President Teodoro Obiang Nguema.
Felipe Ondó Obiang, 62, voluntary left his office as head of the Equatoguinean Assembly and went into Gabonese exile in 1965, registered as a political refugee in the neighbouring country.
Disregarding his status, Ondó and his colleague Guillermo Nguema Elá were detained in Libreville in November 1997 by Gabonese security forces and surrendered to the Inspector General of the Equatoguinean Armed Forces, Agustín Ndong Oná.

 Equatorial Guinea: A parody of a trial in order to crush the opposition
The wives of two of the prisoners who went to bring food to their husbands were also beaten and tortured and, one of them was raped by several soldiers, according to a statement made in court by her husband.
In the first two days of July, two of the prisoners, Juan Ondó Nguema and Cándido Obiang Abia, were taken to the Malabo hospital suffering from stomach pains and a high temperature as a result of the lack of adequate food.
Felipe Ondó Obiang and Guillermo Nguema Elá made statements to the foreign media and were rearrested in March 1998 and sentenced to two and a half years' imprisonment in August 1998 for making "false reports and accusations".

Gaspar Mba Oyono, president of the UP committee in a neighbouring village, who had come to visit his UP colleagues in Andom Onvang, was blamed for the dispute.

In 1998 Ondo and Nguema were convicted of libel against the Government and sentenced to 30 months' imprisonment after security forces repatriated them involuntarily from Gabon with the consent of the Government of Gabon.
General Antonio Mba Ngeuma, the owner and operator's uncle, shut down the station after Obiang Nguema released a press statement discussing his dissatisfaction with some of the new members of his father's government, particularly members of the security forces.

Two sworn statements signed by Du Toit in March were filed before the Cape High Court late on Monday, as part of Thatcher's response to the state's efforts to subpoena him to answer questions related to the alleged coup.
In the statements, Du Toit suggested that Nguema might have been killed during the alleged coup - and added that, should there be resistance, bloodshed would be inevitable.
