LONDON (Reuters) - Apama, the trading technology provider, is looking to list on Nasdaq within two to three years, as it bets trade in financial securities will become almost entirely automated within a decade, senior executives at the firm say.
Apama’s software searches data from multiple sources, detecting patterns, as defined by the user, and sends the results to traders or automatically trades on their behalf.
Apama, and the banks it serves, predict that much of the work done by traders pressing buttons will be largely automated.
