		When it debuted in 1989, the independent film "Apartment Zero" featured a then little-known English actor named Colin Firth, a lesser-known American actor named Hart Bochner and a supporting cast of international actors that even devoted film fans wouldn't recognize in a police lineup of Paris Hilton impersonators.
		The fact that the film got made at all was, as much as anything, a testament to the ignorance, as well as the talent and work ethic, of the two principals: Argentine-born director Martin Donovan and his screenwriting partner, David Koepp.
		One reason why it's taken so long for this uncut version of "Apartment Zero" to come out was because of the problems Koepp and Donovan had raising money.
